Haunted House.

The stony path that led up to the house was hard to walk on. I could hear the sound of animals screeching at my feet my it was too dark to locate them. My heart was racing as the rain drenched my hair. I could tell that I was getting close to the doorway because of the dim light of the full moon.
"Bun dun!" the thunder boomed. The sound startled me so I started to pick up my pace. I got to the stairs, or what was left of them. I held on to the stair handles as I walked up and almost fell backwards. The second I was on the porch, The front door swung open. Almost as if someone was waiting for my arrival. Each inch I moved up towards the house my heart raced just a little more faster. Once I entered the house the door slammed shut. I struggled to open it, but the door wouldn't budge.
"This isn't real. No it can't be," I thought to myself knowing that I would be staying the night at this weird house.
"Think, what do they do in the movies," I mumbled to myself not letting my voice echo.
I slipped through the house observing what I have to survive the night. I grabbed a knife. That was all I could find. The knife felt wet, but it was way to dark to see what it was so I kept on going. And then it hit me. Water. I need water. So I put the knife out near the door and went on my journey for water. The first place I checked was the refrigerator. Nothing. Checked the cabinet. Nothing. Lastly, I sat down thinking of places I would keep water at my house. As in the middle of a thought my arm felt really cold. I got scared and jumped out of my seat. To my advantage, it was a glass of water. The water had a few ice cubes floating at the top.
"Bottoms up!" I thought to myself.
I spit the water out right away. I realized I wasn't the only one in this house. Ice cubes melt over time. These didn't. A pain shot from the top of my back to the bottom of my feet. I fell to my knees and couldn't move.
"Never leave supplies unauthorized," said a voice.
I now realized in my last milliseconds of living. I was just stabbed in the back, and I wasn't the only one in the house.
